Wreaths for Eradicating Terrorism at the Astanaanyar Police Station in Bandung
JAKARTA - The Astanaanyar Polsek, Bandung City, West Java, was flooded with wreaths today, Friday 9 December. The wreaths usually contain support for the National Police to eradicate terrorism.
West Java Regional Police Public Relations Head Kombes Pol Ibrahim Tompo said the arrival of the wreaths was a good spirit for police officers in the field. People are also asked not to be afraid to eradicate terrorism.
"Because indeed we must not be influenced by acts of terror so there is no room for achieving the objectives of the acts of terror," said Ibrahim in Bandung, West Java, Friday, December 9, reported by Antara.
For this reason, Ibrahim said that his party would like to thank the public for supporting the performance of the police in eradicating terrorism.
He also guaranteed that the police would continue to investigate and eradicate acts of terrorism down to their roots. So he asked the public not to worry after the bomb terror tragedy at the Astanaanyar Police Station.

In addition to the expressions of support, a number of the wreaths also read condolences for a police officer who died, namely Aiptu Posthumous Sofyan. Meanwhile, Sofyan died about two hours after the suicide bombing after being rushed to the hospital because he was seriously injured.
"With the death of the deceased, who died while on duty, the rank was raised by one level, from Aipda to Aiptu," said Ibrahim.
Previously, a suicide bomb explosion occurred at the Astanaanyar Police Station, Bandung City, West Java, Wednesday, December 7, at around 08.20 WIB. This incident caused a police officer to die, nine police officers were injured, and one passer-by was also injured.
