Child With Special Needs Who Were Carried Away By The Cakung River Flow Was Found Dead By The Joint SAR Team

JAKARTA - Muhammad Danu Saputra (13), a missing boy who drowned in the current of the Cakung River, was finally found by the Joint SAR Team. The boy with special needs was found floating lifeless in Cakung Drain, East Jakarta, Friday, December 9, afternoon.

The victim was found at a radius of approximately 5 km from the scene by the joint SAR team. The incident occurred at the Cakung River Bridge, Milling Village, Cakung District, East Jakarta.

"The victim was found by the joint SAR team and we evacuated to the funeral home to be handed over to the victim's family," said Head of the Jakarta SAR Office, Fazzli when confirmed by VOI, Friday, December 9.

The search for victims began on Thursday afternoon, December 8. Then on Friday morning, the joint SAR team divided the search area into three teams.

"The first team conducted a search using a rubber boat with a radius of 3 KM from the scene," he said.

Furthermore, the second team conducted a visual search by land as far as 3 KM from the scene.

"The third team conducted a search below the surface of the water using aqua eye and Underwater Search Device. Then continued with diving around the scene at a radius of 10 meters," he said.

Previously, it was reported that a minor lost in the river was swept away by the current in Pedaengan Village, RT 015/08, Milling Village, Cakung District, East Jakarta, Thursday, December 8, afternoon.

The victim, known as Danu (11), was reported missing at around 17.25 WIB. The victim was wearing a blue shirt.
