OJK Returns Salurkan Bantuan Untuk Korban Gempa Bumi Di Cianjur
JAKARTA - The Financial Services Authority (OJK) together with the Financial Services Industry (IJK) have again distributed donations to help earthquake victims in Cianjur Regency, West Java.
In a press release published today, it was stated that the OJK and IJK handed over assistance to the Cianjur Regency Government for a total of Rp. 98 million and through the Kita Peduli Foundation worth Rp. 75 million.
Previously, through the OJK and IJK Disaster Care programs, donations of Rp. 750 million were handed over to the Governor of West Java, Ridwan Kamil, on November 24, 2022.
Head of OJK Regional 2 West Java Indarto Budiwitono conveyed OJK's commitment with IJK in providing humanitarian assistance and restoring post-earthquake financial services.
"This assistance does not only come from the OJK but also invites the financial services industry to help ease the burden on the people affected by the earthquake. We will continue to strive for what we can help the people of Cianjur," he said on Sunday, December 4.
On the same occasion, Cianjur Regent Herman Suherman appreciated and expressed his gratitude for the OJK and IJK's concern in helping to ease the burden on people affected by the earthquake.
"Hopefully the assistance will be given into a practice that can be accepted by Allah SWT. We pray that the people of Cianjur can recover quickly and always be enthusiastic. Our next challenge is when the disaster response period ends and the start of the recovery period and rebuilding. We ask for support and prayers to all colleagues," he said.
It was stated that the OJK would also continue to ensure that financial services to the people in Cianjur and its surroundings could continue to operate properly.
