Pertamina Has Presented A One Price Fuel Program In 402 Indonesian Regions
JAKARTA - Pertamina's One Price Fuel Program has now served the energy needs of the community in 402 regions in 125 Indonesian districts since 2017, after the simultaneous inauguration of distribution agencies in three regions, namely South Nias, Sambas, and Hulu Sungai Selatan.
The inauguration was carried out in collaboration with the Downstream Oil and Gas Regulatory Agency (BPH Migas).
"This step is proof of Pertamina in ensuring the availability of affordable energy throughout Indonesia," said Pertamina Patra Niaga President Director, Subholding Commercial & Trading of PT Pertamina (Persero) Alfian Nasution in an official statement, quoted from Antara, Thursday, December 1.
He explained that as many as 81 points of which were new distribution agencies from the target of 92 One Price Fuel points in 2022, while the remaining 11 points would be accelerated.
Not only that, 54 districts that are included in the Disadvantaged, Frontier, and Outermost (3T) areas have also been served by the Pertamina One Price Fuel distribution agency.
As the spearhead of energy distribution, Alfian continued that Pertamina Patra Niaga continues to encourage equal distribution of affordable energy access as a form of supporting the government's program to realize equitable energy through the One Price Fuel Program.
The distribution of One Price Fuel points focuses on areas outside Java, Madura, Bali, or areas that require access to energy. Not infrequently, this region also brings great challenges in the distribution process, especially to 3T areas.
"Currently, the distribution of One Price Fuel includes 62 in Sumatra, 86 in Kalimantan, 71 in Nusa Tenggara, 44 in Sulawesi, 57 in Maluku, 77 in Papua, and 5 others entering Java, Madura, and Bali," he said.
For the 3T area, he revealed that it is normal for the distribution process to use various modes of transportation, both land, water, and air. The change in transportation is carried out four to five times, even eight times before fuel can be enjoyed by the community.
In responding to the distribution challenges, Pertamina Patra Niaga continues to coordinate in ensuring the distribution process runs well. In order to be able to serve sustainably, the presence of One Price Fuel must be balanced with good distribution guarantees.
"We are grateful to all regional heads who have facilitated the presence of the one-price fuel distribution agency. We will continue to coordinate to ensure that the distribution of fuel can run optimally, on time, on the right number, and on the right quality, in the context of synergy in realizing affordable energy access for the community," said Alfian.
Meanwhile, Head of BPH Migas Erika Retnowati said that her party has the task and responsibility to ensure and ensure energy distribution, especially the availability of affordable fuel in all corners of the country.
"Thank you to all parties who have supported the implementation of the One Price Fuel Program. Hopefully, the benefits of the presence of this program can be felt directly by the community, so that it can move the wheels of the economy in the 3T region and become a manifestation of fair energy for the people of Indonesia," said Erika.
