The Reconstruction Of The Shooting Of The FPI Warriors Considered By IPW As Strange, Polri: I Don't Respond To People's Comments
JAKARTA - The Director of General Crimes (Dirtipidum), Bareskrim Polri, Brig. Gen. Andi Rian, was reluctant to respond to comments by the Indonesia Police Watch (IPW) which said there were irregularities in the reconstruction process.
This reconstruction is related to the reconstruction of the clash between the police and the special laskar guarding Rizieq Shihab which led to the death of six members of the army.
"I am not in the capacity to respond to people's comments in public," Andi told reporters Monday, December 14.
Andi said, if there are people or independent institutions that have facts or think there are irregularities in the reconstruction process, the National Police will prepare a complaint service to investigators via hotline 0812-84298228.
"If for example they have facts, prove it, we are open. From the beginning we have delivered an open hotline to the public, whoever has this information, "he said.
Previously, the head of the Indonesian Police Watch Presidium, Neta S. Pane, revealed the irregularities in the reconstruction process or the reconstruction of the clash that resulted in the shooting of six special FPI troops by the police.
"IPW saw three SOP violations committed by members of the National Police, especially in the case of the death of four FPI members in a police officer car," said Neta in his statement, Monday, December 14.
First, said Neta, the police explained that the four FPI members who were still alive, after two of their friends were shot dead and put in a police car without being handcuffed.
"This is very strange, when Rizieq himself was taken to the detention cell at Polda Metro Jaya, he was handcuffed by the authorities. Why were the four FPI members who had just finished shooting with the police not handcuffed when they were put into the police car? ” said Neta.
Second, Neta considers that the police effort to put the four FPI members who had just finished shooting with the police into a police car that has a capacity of eight people, which is also filled with police officers, is absurd.
Third, the Polri members who should have been trained were proven not to be promoters and unable to knock out unarmed FPI members, so the police fought at close range until the four FPI members died.
"From the three carelessness, it is clear that the police apparatus violated the SOP which caused the four FPI members to die in one car. From the explanation from the Head of the Police Public Relations Division, it can be seen how careless the police officers were, "he said.
