Menparekraf Sandiaga Uno Offers B20 Delegates Travel To Five Super Priority Destinations Outside Bali
JAKARTA - The Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy (Menparekraf) Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno offered delegates to the Business 20 (B20) Summit 2022 forum to travel outside the southern Bali region.
"We offered at B20 that Bali is not only southern Bali, but also north, east Bali and several other destinations in Bali," said Sandiaga Uno during the inauguration of the I Gede Ardika Postgraduate Building for the Bali Tourism Polytechnic in Badung Regency, Sunday.
Therefore, he has submitted requests and offers to the B20 delegation to extend his visit to Bali for at least another week.
"I said, please increase the visit by a week, after all, we have come all the way here (Bali)," he said as reported by Antara.
On this occasion, Sandiaga Uno also reminded the delegates to plant 64 mangrove trees per person.
"I remind you (B20 forum participants) you have to plant 64 more trees because that's based on a carbon footprint calculator. Flying from far away countries is a requirement for 64 trees, although at the moment it's still an option," he said.
So, said Sandiaga, they can plant in the West Bali National Park, in the Tahura area and several other locations that have been tabulated in collaboration with GoTo and Jejak.in and accommodated in Indonesia.travel.
Not only for traveling on the island of Bali, but he also offered the B20 delegates to be able to visit five super priority destinations.
"There's Lake Toba, Borobudur, Labuan Bajo, Mandalika and Likupang. So this is what I'm offering and they seem interested. Earlier they were also asked about the potential investment opportunities," he added.
Apart from that, Sandiaga confessed that he also offered eight special economic zones (SEZs) in Nusantara that wished to welcome business investments in the B20 Forum.
Likewise, with the companions of the G20 delegation, Sandiaga Uno hopes to be able to enjoy tourist destination packages in Bali and outside Bali.
"For the G20, the heads of state did go straight home, but their companions didn't. Their supporting team is definitely still living here. They will be offered packages in Bali and other destinations," he said.
