CRIF Cooperation, Joint Financial Risk Export Export Entrepreneurs In Inter-National Transactions
JAKARTA - The Association of Indonesian Export Companies (GPEI) is collaborating with the global business data information company, CRIF. This collaboration includes an increase in the assessment of the risk of financial problems from export-import transactions with companies abroad.
GPEI chairman Khairul Mahalli said it was important for companies to be warned beforehand about potential financial and trade problems with their customers and suppliers abroad. Especially when reporting requirements for companies vary widely around the world, making it difficult to find the level of information necessary to make good credit decisions.
We are pleased to partner with CRIF. The SkyMinder CRIF service will provide high-quality information to ensure that our member company can easily conduct routine checks to limit the risk of business failure and bad credit," he said in a statement to the media, Thursday, November 10.
He further added, in terms of export-import, there are many things to consider so that inter-office transactions run smoothly. Moreover, when viewed from eagle glasses, Southeast Asia has more than USD 3.4 trillion of global trade that passes every year.
"On the one hand, the Government of Indonesia has a vision to become the fifth to seventh largest economy in the world in 2045, one of which is that Indonesia's foreign exchange comes from exports. The presence of SkyMinder from CRIF can certainly be a supporting catalyst to ensure export-import activities from and to Indonesia can be carried out safely, effectively, and efficiently by GPEI members," he continued.
On the same occasion, Indonesian CRIF Country Director Novi Selalastuti said that SkyMinder assisted exporters and importers in conducting risk mitigation and due diligence early to support a safe business with all its partners.
"If we enter international trade without deep insight, business people can suffer losses. Precise measures are needed to ensure safe, efficient, and effective business transactions, including risk mitigation and due diligence on export-importers," said Novi.
He said the partnership would allow GPEI members to further improve their risk assessment by leveraging SkyMinder's risk information platform, which provides deep financial, commercial and credit information at more than 230 million companies worldwide.
Novi explained that SkyMinder collects and provides information about companies for credit assessments and reliable credit recommendations.
This allows businesses not only to take credit reports, but also to receive updates on changes affecting the company, an important aspect in the evaluation process for customers and suppliers.
He hopes that CRIF can continue to support transaction activities between countries from and to Indonesia with solutions that always develop and grow according to the needs of the Indonesian market.
"CRIF is known as a trusted provider of information, and with our SkyMinder, importers and exporters can now obtain all the credit report information they need from one provider, save time, valuable resources, and money," he concluded.
