Valued at Rp1.35 Trillion, the Presidential Secretariat Building Project at IKN will be Completed by the End of 2024
JAKARTA - State-owned construction company PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk targets the construction of the Presidential Secretariat Building and Supporting Buildings in the National Capital (IKN) Nusantara in East Kalimantan to be completed by the end of 2024.
Waskita SVP Corporate Secretary, Novianto Ari Nugroho, said this project will be built on a land area of 50,678 square meters and a building area of 33,312 square meters which is divided into 3 buildings, namely the Presidential Secretariat, the Paspampres Mess, and supporting buildings.
"This development will take 720 calendar days with the target of completing the work by the end of 2024", said Novianto in a statement quoted by Antara, Monday, November 7.
Waskita again won a new project contract at IKN. This time the project to be built is the Presidential Secretariat Building and supporting buildings in the IKN Presidential Palace Area with a total contract value of IDR 1.35 trillion.
Novianto said Waskita was proud of the achievement of the Presidential Secretariat Building construction project at IKN.
“The company will mobilize all the best available resources to complete this project. From the experience that the Company has, we are confident that we can work on this project with the right quality and on time as stated in the contract", he said.

Previously, Waskita has also won two project tenders, namely the IKN Toll Road Project for the Simpang Tempadung - Balang Island Bridge valued at IDR 990 billion and the construction of the IKN Logistics Road for the Central Government Main Area (KIPP) Segment 4 of the Segment 4 Ring Road Development Package worth IDR 182 billion.
By winning the tender for the Presidential Secretariat Building project and supporting buildings in the Presidential Palace Area, to date, Waskita has won the IKN project tender with a total contract value of IDR 2.55 trillion.
In its implementation later, Waskita will not only pursue revenue targets but also remain committed to maintaining the trust that has been given by the Government and service users by paying attention to and prioritizing safety and environmental aspects.
