Ministry Of Health Budgeted For Corona Virus Patient Treatment
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) will not charge BPJS Kesehatan to handle patients exposed to the corona virus or 2019-nCoV. However, if this epidemic reaches Indonesia and results in a number of people being infected, the Ministry of Health will bear the cost of the treatment.
Minister of Health (Menkes) Terawan Agus Putranto stated that the Ministry of Health has prepared a separate budget to deal with patients exposed to the corona virus or the Wuhan flu.
"The important thing is, obviously there is a budget from the Ministry of Health for this kind of condition and there is no need to worry. That's why they are all calm," said Terawan, when met at the DPR Building, Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Tuesday, January 28. .
However, Terawan did not specify how much the Ministry of Health had prepared to handle the corona virus if it entered Indonesia. The budget will later be taken from the Budget Executive Entry List or DIPA.
"This is from DIPA. So, as the minister of health, I have predicted that if there will be things that will happen, then there will be a budget. And, how come they happen?
Previously related to prevention, Terawan emphasized the importance of endurance or immunity in warding off various types of diseases, including diseases caused by viruses including corona.
According to Terawan, good immunity can be obtained through the consumption of good balanced nutrition and adopting a healthy and clean lifestyle. He also emphasized the importance of exercising regularly to maintain body fitness.
