Tesla Recalls 24,000 Of Its Products In The US Due To A Faulty Seatbelt
JAKARTA – Even though using advanced technology, Tesla products are not always perfect. In fact, the electric car factory is often forced to withdraw its products due to a number of production errors.
Tesla Inc recently decided to recall more than 24,000 Model 3 vehicles in the US manufactured between 2017-2022 due to seat belt issues.
According to a Reuters report, the Austin-based electric vehicle company said the second-row left seatbelt buckle and the second-row seatbelt anchor in the middle may not be properly attached during vehicle servicing.
According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) they have reports of 105 service repairs, including warranty claims, for US vehicles that are related or may be related to recall issues.
It's also not the first or second Tesla withdrew its product. As of February this year, Tesla has recalled 26,681 production vehicles due to an error in the camera feature.
Then in April, Tesla also recalled nearly 595 thousand vehicles in the United States because of its "Boombox" function that can play sound through external speakers and obscure audible warnings to pedestrians.

The electric car manufacturer, led by Elon Musk, also had to recall 130,000 cars last May, due to an issue that caused the CPU in a vehicle's infotainment system to overheat during fast charging.
This has the potential to damage the car's touch screen or go completely blank as reported by The Associated Press recently. The electric car maker has actually started rolling out an over-the-air (OTA) update on May 3 to fix issues on the affected vehicles, which include the 2022 Model 3 and Y, as well as the 2021 and 2022 Model X and S.
Not only cars produced in the US, but Tesla's production in China is also problematic. China's market regulator announced in May that Tesla Inc would recall 107,293 Chinese-made Model 3 and Model Y vehicles due to overheating. This can cause the center touchscreen display to malfunction, among other problems.
This excessive heat can also cause other malfunctions, including windshield settings and gear displays.
Car towing is common and even considered positive because it is a form of responsibility and warranty from the car manufacturer. However, if you often withdraw their products due to various errors, in large quantities, it certainly deserves to be a question about Tesla's own products.
