Not Losing With Black Tea, It's Typically Drinking White Tea For The Body

JAKARTA - White tea is not as popular as green tea and black tea. However, this type of tea is no less beneficial for health and tastes sweeter and lighter. White tea is made from the leaves of the synensis Camellia plant.

White tea requires minimal processing because it contains more antioxidants. The leaves and buds of this plant must also be young to be able to become white tea. Just like other types of tea, white tea also has many health benefits, namely preventing cancer, losing weight and several other benefits as discussed below, according toELsky, reported ANTARA.

1. Prevent cancer

White tea has a powerful ability to prevent cancer cells from forming due to polyphenols. This polifenol increases cell death from two types of lung cancer cells of small non-cells. It also inhibits cell mutations more efficiently than green tea because there is no need for much processing like green tea. Other studies conducted by the University of Malaya in Malaysia show that white tea has the potential to stop the spread of cancer cells.

2. Help lose weight

White tea is as strong as green tea when it comes to burning fat and losing weight. White tea extract helps in triggering the breakdown of fat cells and preventing the formation of new fat cells due to the presence of epigallocatechine gallate (EGCG), a compound related to burning fat. Drinking white tea every day will accelerate your metabolism by 4 to 5 percent.

3. Protect the body from harmful diseases

Because white tea is rich in polyphenolic antioxidants, white tea protects healthy cells from damage caused by free radicals. Polifenol acts as a shield for cells and protects them from free radicals that cause chronic inflammation, harmful illness, and weakened immune systems.

4. Reduce the risk of heart disease

Drinking white tea every day will increase cholesterol levels because it contains polyphenols that prevent bad cholesterol from oxidating. It also helps smooth blood vessels and prevents blockage of blood vessels.

5. Lower the risk of diabetes

White tea contains polyphenols that can reduce the risk of insulin resistance. If you eat high- sugar foods for a long time, your body may stop responding to insulin. This is called insulin resistance that causes type 2 diabetes, metabolic syndrome and heart disease.

6. Prevent osteoporosis

chronic and radical inflammation freely suppresses cells that help in bone growth and trigger cells in bone damage. This leads to osteoporosis, a condition that makes your bones weak. The skin in white tea has been shown to prevent the risk of osteoporosis.

7. Protected from Alzheimer's and Alzheimer's disease

White tea contains katetin and epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG) which lowers the risk of developing Alzheimer's and Alzheimer's disease. Research has shown that these two compounds prevent protein from accumulating and co-mouting which is the main cause of Alzheimer's and Alzheimer's disease.

8. Healthy the kidneys

The presence of cathets in white tea prevents the formation of calcium oxalates in the kidneys. A study found that drinking white tea can reduce the adverse effects of environmental pollution that endangers the kidneys, heart, liver, lungs and brain.
