Bali Ngurah Rai Airport Passengers Grow In November

JAKARTA - The manager of I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport, Bali, noted that there was a growth in the number of passengers entering and leaving Bali through the airport during November when compared to records in the previous months in 2020.

"During November, as many as 3,898 aircraft and 351,585 passengers were recorded in and out of Bali Island via Ngurah Rai Airport. In October 2020, his party recorded that as many as 3,058 airplanes and 231,586 passengers were served by the Island of the Gods air gate. He said over the past six months, airplane and passenger statistics have continued to grow. Meanwhile, November was the highest in the last three months.

"If we take it back again, from June to November 2020 we recorded that there was always a significant statistical growth. From month to month it always grows. Over the past six months, the average growth for airplanes was 56.1 percent while that for passengers it has grown by 101.4 percent. It's quite encouraging, "he said.

Herry Sikado explained that with an additional record of the number of aircraft and passengers served by the eleventh month of 2020, there were 50,659 aircraft and 5,806,270 passengers.

This record is still quite far from the number of aircraft and passengers served in 2019. During the 11 months of 2019, 141,385 aircraft and 22,003,610 passengers were served at Ngurah Rai Airport. If a comparison is made, in 2020 there will be a difference of 90,726 aircraft movements and 16,197,340 passengers.

"For the record, in 2020 as a whole, it is still far from being compared to 2019. The percentage of reduction is 64.2 percent and 73.6 percent for aircraft and passenger movements," he said.
