Just Because Of This, Rizaldi Had The Heart To Stab A 12-Year-Old Girl To Death
JAKARTA - The West Java Regional Police are still investigating Rizaldi Nugraha Gumilar (22), the perpetrator who stabbed a 12-year-old girl in Cimahi, Bandung to death. The Head of Public Relations of the West Java Police, Kombes Ibrahim Tompo, said that Rizaldi's motive for taking this action was because he wanted to seize the victim's cellphone.
The stabbing occurred when the victim was returning home from learning Quran. Based on CCTV footage installed at the scene, Rizaldi followed the victim after separating from her friend in the alley, Cibeureum, South Cimahi District, Wednesday, October 19, at 18:45 WIB.
The moment when Rizaldi stabbed the victim is not recorded, but in the CCTV footage, Andir resident who is known as Ical, who lives in Gang Saluyu VI, RT 04 RW 04, Maleber Village, immediately rushed to the motorbike and fled after stabbing his victim.
"The motive for this case is clear, namely theft with violence where the perpetrator tries to find something by using violence against the victim," Ibrahim told reporters, Sunday, October 23.
Ibrahim explained, after the victim separated from her friend in the alley, the perpetrator came to the victim with a motorbike. He, Rizaldi, asked for a cell phone.

"There was no cellphone, the perpetrator was stabbed, then the perpetrator fled," he explained.
Ibrahim said, the motorbike used by the perpetrators became the main focus of the investigation team of the investigators.
After conducting a search, it was found the motorbike was used by the perpetrator at the time of the incident. Apparently, continued Ibrahim, the two-wheeled vehicle did not belong to the perpetrator, but a motorbike borrowed from his friend.
"Yes, from the information received now, it was borrowed (from a friend)," he said.
Rizaldi was arrested on Sunday, October 23 afternoon, in the Cicendo area, Bandung City. Now he was taken to the Cimahi Police for questioning.
