Denmark Open 2022: Indonesia Wants to Take Revenge after Failed Last Year
JAKARTA - Indonesia sent 16 representatives to the Denmark Open 2022. After failing miserably at the 2021 event, the Red and White team is expected to take revenge this year.
In 2021, Indonesia's best achievements are presented by Tommy Sugiarto and Praveen Jordan/Melati Daeva Oktavianti. They reached the semifinals.
The Denmark Open 2022 takes place from Tuesday, October 18 at Arena Fyn, Odense. The tournament with Super 750 level will compete for a total prize of 750 thousand dollars or equivalent to IDR 11.6 billion.
In this tournament, Indonesia fell in all numbers. Starting from men's singles, men's doubles, women's singles, women's doubles, and mixed doubles.
In order to get maximum results, Indonesia lowered its best squad. From the men's singles sector, favorite names like Anthony Ginting and Jonatan Christie are still the mainstays.
The men's doubles are also filled with strong formations such as the pair Mohammad Ahsan / Hendra Setiawan and Kevin Sanjaya Sukamuljo / Marcus Fernaldi Gideon.
While in the women's sector, Apriyani Rahayu/Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti became the focus.
