Elon Musk Keeps Financing Starlink In Ukraine, No Matter The Losses
JAKARTA – Saturday, October 15, SpaceX CEO Elon Musk finally announced that his rocket company would continue to fund Starlink's internet service in Ukraine. He cited one reason for the need for "good deeds." Whereas the day before he said he could no longer do it.
“The hell with it… even though Starlink is still losing money & other companies are getting billions of taxpayers$, we'll just keep funding the Ukrainian government for free”, Musk tweeted.
Musk said Friday, October 14 that SpaceX cannot fund Starlink indefinitely in Ukraine. While this internet service has helped civilians and the military stay online during the war with Russia.
While it's not clear whether Musk's change of mind was genuine, he later appeared to point out that endorsement. When a Twitter user told Musk "No good deed goes unpunished", he replied, "Even so, we must still do good deeds".
