The South Tangerang Regional Election Debate: The Taj Mahal Satire Meme That Made Muhamad-Sara Determined To Advance Tangsel
JAKARTA - The candidate pair for mayor and vice mayor of South Tangerang (Tangsel) candidate number 1 Muhamad-Rahayu Saraswati Djojohadikusumo is determined to make Tangsel a city that is developed, safe, peaceful and just. Tangsel will be developed through a government that is transparent, accountable, dedicated and cooperative for the sake of the citizens.
"We, the pair, want to present Tangsel to all who do not side with one group," said candidate for mayor Muhamad in the Tangsel regional election debate, Thursday, December 3.
Meanwhile, the candidate for deputy mayor of Tangsel Sara reiterated that Tangsel is still prone to conflict. The reason is there is social inequality in society.
"Some time ago there was a viral social media meme in the form of Taj Mahal, the good part was related to BSD and Alam Sutera, but the settlements beside them which tend to be crowded and left behind are associated with Ciputat-Pamulang. We must present social justice in Tangsel, especially for marginalized people, people with disabilities and the poor, "said Sara in the South Tangerang regional election debate which was also broadcast live streaming.
Sara, who is also Deputy Head of Gerindra, emphasized that development must be equitable access to education. Sara emphasized that special schools for children with special needs must be presented. In addition, disability-friendly infrastructure is required.
"We want to involve citizens in economic development and recovery by encouraging SMEs and providing as many jobs as possible. We reduce inequality and there will be safety and peace," said Sara.
"But it's safe we have to improve my tour of South Tangerang based on public reports on the issue of street lighting. The poles have lights that don't work, so let's unite our vision with the spirit of mutual cooperation for a better Tangsel," said Sara.
