Samsung Implements Blockchain Technology To Improve Security Protocols On All Devices
JAKARTA - Tech giant Samsung announced it will leverage blockchain technology to improve security protocols for all its smart devices.
frame Matrix is a new blockchain-based security solution for cross-device experience. This means a layer of security that includes all Samsung devices, from smartphones to home appliances, on the network.
Samsung said it would work as an individual personal blockchain system, with all interconnected devices equipped with multi-layered blockchain monitoring. This includes electronic devices such as smartphones and even smart TVs and air conditioning.

New security updates are meant to protect users from exploiting their credentials, while at the same time making the entry process simpler.
Menurut pengumuman tersebut, semua perangkat Samsung akan menggunakan kacak Matrix dan menerima SDK terpadu, baik yang berbasis Android, Tizen atau OS lain.
This technology comes at the same time as the company's announcement of its new collaboration with Google to improve the experience of multi-smart devices at home.
Samsung itself has been active in expanding its footprint in Web3 spaces.
A blog post from Blockdata on August 16 revealed that the company has been the most active investor in blockchain-related ventures since September 2021. According to the post, Samsung has participated in 13 investments in the industry after a nine-month period.
Recently they supported the upcoming Web3 gaming studio, along with Samsung's Asset Management division launching a blockchain exchange-traded fund in Hong Kong.
According to a Cointelegraph report, Samsung Next's Managing Director also talked about the importance of building and investing in Web3 spaces today.
