"The landslide occurred on Tuesday (October 11) afternoon in Parakan Badak Village, Mekarbuana Village, Tegalwaru District, Karawang," he said in Karawang, West Java (Jabar), quoted from Antara, Wednesday, October 12.

In addition, the pile of landslides also resulted in the closure of road access in Parakan Badak Village and one house being damaged after being hit by a fallen tree.

"The landslide occurred due to heavy rain accompanied by strong winds," said Yasin.

He conveyed that after receiving a report related to the disaster incident, the BPBD team immediately coordinated with the sub-district and village governments, as well as to the scene to carry out the handling.

"The team immediately cleaned up the avalanche material that covered the road assisted by the community and other parties," he said.
