Rising 56.54 Percent, Export Value Of Lampung August 2022 Capai 674 Million US Dollars

LAMPUNG - The export value of Lampung Province in August 2022 reached US$674.55 million, or an increase of 56.54 percent compared to last month.

"Meanwhile, the import value of Lampung Province in August 2022 reached 124.31 million US dollars, or a decrease of 49.23 percent compared to July 2022," said Head of the Central Lampung Provincial Statistics Agency, Endang Retno Sri Subiyandani, quoted from Antara, Monday, October 3.

He said the ten main categories of goods exported by Lampung Province in August 2022 were animal/vegetable fats and oils, coal.

Then, coffee; tea; spices; dregs/ remnants of the food industry, various chemical products; processed from fruits/supples; wood/pulp porridge; fish and shrimp; rubber and rubber and goods made of rubber; as well as sugar and sugarflower.

"The main countries that will export Lampung Province in August 2022 are Italy, the United States, India, China, the Netherlands, Pakistan, Japan, South Korea, Spain and New Zealand," said Endang.

He added that the main export destination for Lampung Province in August 2022 was 92.92 million dollars in Italy; United States 89.82 million dollars; India 77.29 million dollars; China 67.67 million dollars; Netherlands 57.42 million dollars.

Then, Pakistan 52.68 million dollars; Japan 50.99 million dollars; South Korea 26.62 million dollars; Spain 25.20 million dollars; and New Zealand 22.89 million dollars.

Of the ten major import goods groups in August 2022, Endang added, five categories of goods decreased, each was the food industry's dregs/mixes fell 5.48 percent; sugar and sugar fireworks fell 9.20 percent; live animals fell 30.72 percent; wheat fell 19.09 percent; and fish and shrimp fell 6.51 percent.

As for the rising category of goods, namely, fertilizer rose 54.14 percent; iron and steel rose 123.76 percent; mechanical machinery/aircraft rose 25.44 percent; organic chemicals rose 81.52 percent; and salt, sulfur, lime rose 16.099.33 percent.
