Commission III of the DPR Selects 9 Names of Candidates for Members of the National Human Rights Commission
JAKARTA - Commission III of the House of Representatives chose nine names of candidates for members of the National Human Rights Commission (Komnas HAM) for the 2022-2027 period, in today's plenary meeting.
Nine of the 14 names were chosen after undergoing a fit and proper test on Friday, September 30, last.
"Of the 14 names that took part in the due diligence test, nine factions in Commission III of the DPR agreed to choose nine names", said Deputy Chairman of Commission III of the DPR, Prince Khairul Saleh, to reporters in Jakarta, Monday, October 3.
The nine names are Atnike Nova Sigiro (Chairman), Abdul Haris Semendawai, Anis Hidayah, Hari Kurniawan, Prabianto Mukti Wibowo, Pramono Ubaid Tanthowi, Putu Elvina, Saurlin P. Siagian, and Uli Parulian Sihombing.
"The nine names are the best of the 14 names that have taken the due diligence", added the Prince.
The prince added that the selection of the nine names was carried out by deliberation and consensus by nine factions.
"So it does not use a voting mechanism or voting", he said.

It is known that Commission III of the House of Representatives held a fit and proper test of 14 candidates for Komnas HAM members for the 2022-2027 period on Friday, September 30.
The fourteen candidates are Abdul Haris Semendawai, Amiruddin, Anis Hidayah, Antonio Pandjasto Hardojo, Atnike Nova Sigiro, Beka Ulung Hapsara, Chrisbiantoro, Hari Kurniawan, Prabianto Mukti Wibowo, Pramono Ubaid Tanthowi, Putu Elvina, Rita Serena Kalibonso, Saurlin P. Siagian, and Uli Parulian Sihombing.
