Police Investigate CCTV Footage Of Curanmor Action In Kemayoran

JAKARTA - The theft of a motorbike caught on CCTV cameras occurred on Jalan Utan Panjang 3, Kemayoran District, Central Jakarta. The perpetrator managed to get away with a motorbike belonging to a resident numbered B 3537 PAT.

From the CCTV camera footage, the incident began when the perpetrator wore a gray jacket and a hiyam hat walked into a house he had been after. Without long periods of time, the perpetrator managed to damage the motorcycle ignition allegedly using the letter T key.

The perpetrator then left the resident's house and took away the stolen motorbike.

The Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Kemayoran Police, AKP Fauzan, confirmed the theft of motorbikes in his area. In fact, the victim has also made a police report regarding the theft of the motorbike.

"The victim has reported the incident. We are still investigating," said AKP Fauzan when confirmed, Friday, September 30.

His party is still conducting an investigation by studying evidence of CCTV footage.

"From CCTV there is the culprit, under investigation," he said.

Meanwhile, the victim and several eyewitnesses have also been questioned.

"The victim and the witness have given information. Currently, the case is still being investigated," he said.
