Evaluation Of The Indonesian National Team Behind The Indonesian National Team After Nicknamed Curacao, Shin Tae-yong: There Are Several Times Of Error

JAKARTA - The coach of the Indonesian national team, Shin Tae-yong, said that the Garuda squad's defense still needed evaluation even though his team beat Curacao in the first friendly match with a score of 3-2 at the Gelora Bandung Stadium, Sea of Fire, Bandung, Saturday.

According to Shin, honing the organization on the defense does take time. He also considered that there were still some mistakes made by his defenders when facing the Curacao striker who had a higher posture.

"Our team is indeed lacking for defense training, indeed there have been several mistakes, and that will focus more on fixing them," Shin Tae-yong said during a press conference after the match, quoted by Antara, Sunday.

The South Korean coach admitted that the Curacao game was quite difficult for Indonesian players, one of which, he said, was through a quick goal that was made at the beginning of the match.

However, he also appreciated his foster children who were able to turn things around. He considered that the Fachruddin cs squad was able to follow his instructions well.

"We can fight well and there is no fear of the opposing players today. So the players are also very good for today following my instructions, for that I am very grateful," he said.

Meanwhile, Indonesian national team striker Dimas Drajad said the goal he scored was a bonus because the most important thing was victory for the team. He also presented his goal which ensured victory for the national team for his son.

"When my child was born it was in Kuwait, and I can now score again, and that's for my child at home. So that's my motivation," said the player numbered 9 in the back.
