Jadi Tersangka Dugaan Korupsi Dana Desa, Ex Kades Sebakung Jaya Penajam Paser Utara Ditahan 20 Hari
JAKARTA - The North Penajam Paser District Attorney's Office (Kejari) has named and detained Muh as a suspect in the alleged misappropriation case of the use of village funds in 2019. Muh is the former village head (Kades) of Sebakung Jaya, Babulu District.
"Regarding the alleged misuse of Sebakung Jaya Village funds, another suspect was detained, namely the former village head," said Head of the Special Crimes Section of the North Penajam Paser Kejari, Mosezs Manulang, in Penajam, East Kalimantan (Kaltim), quoted from Antara, Friday, September 23.
He said Muh was detained for the first 20 days after being named a suspect on Thursday, September 22.
Muh's detention was placed in the detention room of the North Penajam Paser Police for the ease of examination and detention to be extended according to the investigation process.
According to Mosezs, the determination of the suspect and the detention of the former village head were the result of the development of an alleged corruption case in the purchase of fictitious piled land in the Sebakung Jaya Village football field construction project in 2019.
The suspect, Muh, who at that time served as village head, ordered the village treasurer to pay for the piled land directly to the members of the implementing team for the activity with the initials Ham, who had previously been named a suspect.
"The payment should be from the treasurer to the head of the section or head of affairs that oversees the activities of the Sebakung Jaya Village football development project. So, it is clear the involvement of the village head," he said.
From the search results, it is known that the land for the construction of football fields has never been purchased, but in the activity report there is payment for the purchase of land in the stockpile.
From the calculation of the Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP) for the construction of the Sebakung Jaya Village football field, it was found that the state lost around Rp. 571 million.
Previously, on July 26, 2022, the North Penajam Paser Kejari had named a member of the organizing team for the construction of the Sebakung Jaya Village football field with the initials Ham as a suspect.
The North Penajam Paser District Prosecutor's Office investigated the alleged misappropriation of Sebakung Jaya Village funds since June 15, 2021. Furthermore, on August 12, 2021, after being deemed sufficient evidence, the prosecutor's office raised the status of handling cases from the investigation stage to investigation until a suspect was named.
