Lifting Spokes For Business Cases In The Forests Of The City Of Jakut, Komnas PA Calls The Salah Care Patterns
JAKARTA - Chairman of the National Commission for Child Protection (Komnas PA) Arist Merdeka Sirait strongly rebuked the parents of a legal child (ABH) regarding the rape case in the Rawa Malang City Forest, East Semper, Cilincing, North Jakarta.
Arist strongly reprimanded at the North Jakarta Metro Police Headquarters, because the parents of the Children Faced with Law (ABH) were judged unable to make their children realize their mistakes.
"I strongly remind the parents of the perpetrators," said Arist, quoting Antara, Tuesday, September 20.
The incident, according to Arist, lacked attention and pattern of miscarrying.
"If I'm not mistaken for his care, they are not perpetrators of sexual crimes," he said.
Arist added that his party is still studying whether the mistakes in ABH's parents can be subject to child neglect or not.
For example, intentionally eliminating children's rights to receive education.
"So the act can be categorized as a child neglecter," he said.
As a follow-up, if there are these findings, Komnas PA will act according to its duties by submitting the findings to the victim's legal assistant, namely the Hotman Paris Lawyer's Office.
"The portion of law enforcement will be from Mr. Hotman and his friends," said Arist.
Arist expressed his seriousness in handling the case involving ABH as an effort to protect children who are perpetrators and victims.
To the same victim, Arist suggested child protection by granting victims the right to recover from trauma from competent parties.
"The perspective is child protection," said Arist.
On that occasion, Arist expressed his gratitude to the Head of the North Jakarta Metro Police, Kombes Wibowo, for being invited to be involved in providing input to investigators so that the handling of ABH and victims who are still minors can run well.
Arist has also heard that ABH was not detained by investigators but was entrusted to the Safe House (Helter) of Legal-Intended Children in Cipayung, East Jakarta. According to him, the action was a good move.
"Because the perpetrator is a child, he (the legal process) is very special," he said.
Adults may have been immediately arrested (detained).
"It is impossible for children under 12 years old to be taken into custody, later they will be wrong," said Arist.
