Kemenkumham Bali Deportation Of 4 Foreigners, 3 From Nigeria, 1 From Ivory Coast
JAKARTA - The Bali Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights (Kemenkumham) deported 4 foreign nationals (WNA) for violating the Indonesian Law (UU) Number 6 of 2011 concerning Immigration.
"There were four foreigners who were deported on Tuesday, November 24, namely OUT (30), UO (32), JPL (33) and CCN (35), divided into two groups. They were in the rudenim (detention house) at the time. which varies, "said Head of Sub Division of Public Relations and Reform, Bali Regional Office of Kemenkumham I Putu Surya Dharma Surya when confirmed in Denpasar, reported by Antara, Friday, November 27.
He explained that foreigners with the initials OUT (30) and UO (32) from Nigeria, and JPL (33) citizens of Ivory Coast, had violated Article 78 paragraph (3) of Law Number 6 Year 2011 concerning Immigration.
The three were arrested by the TPI Denpasar Class I Immigration officer and then handed over to the Denpasar Rudenim to await the deportation process.
Meanwhile, CCN (35), a Nigerian citizen, has violated Article 75 jo 71 letter (b) of the Republic of Indonesia Law Number 6 of 2011 concerning Immigration.
He was arrested based on the results of the operation of the Class I Special TPI Ngurah Rai Immigration Office and then handed over to Denpasar Rudenim to await the deportation process.
Surya said, OUT (30), UO (32) and JPL (33) departed using the Ethiopian airline ET629 which boarded through gate 2 at 16.10 WIB. Meanwhile, the second flight group CCN (35) departed using Qatar airline QR 957 boarding at 17.20 WIB via Soekarno Hatta International Airport.
"Furthermore, we propose all of these foreigners in the list of deterrence to the Directorate General of Immigration," he said.
Previously, the Head of the Public Relations and Reform Subdivision, I Putu Surya Dharma, said that the Denpasar Detention Center (Rudenim) predominantly deported foreign nationals (WNA) from Nigeria during 2020.
As of this November, the number of residents at the Denpasar Rudenim are around 17 foreigners from various countries.
They are in the detention center mainly for reasons of overstaying.
Meanwhile, the number of foreigners who have been deported from early January to early November 2020 is 26 people.
