The Case Of Perses Scoring Against Persication Will Be Tried Immediately
JAKARTA - The match between Perses (Sumedang) and Persikasi (Bekasi) has been transferred to the Sumedang District Prosecutor's Office. This case has been filed since January 19.
"The case files have been declared by P21 and on January 19, 2020, we submitted the suspect and evidence to the Prosecutor's Office in Sumedang," said Head of the Anti-Mafia Ball Task Force, Brigadier General Hendro Pandowo in Jakarta, Friday, January 24.
However, of the 6 suspects, one of them, with the initials HR, died in November 2019. Investigators also issued a Letter of Termination of Investigation (SP3) for his case on December 23.
Meanwhile, for the other five suspects, DSP, BTR, MR, SHB, and DS, who are the club manager, referee, and West Java PSSI, the case is still ongoing. The five of them will enter the courtroom as soon as possible.
With the completion of the case, the task of the Ball Mafia Task Force volume 2, for 4 months, has been completed and will be disbanded. However, before being disbanded, National Police Chief General Idham Aziz ordered to extend his duties.
"The National Police Chief, General Idham Azis, ordered me to continue with the Anti-Football Mafia Task Force volume 3," said Hendro without explaining his tenure.
"The team has carried out a coordination meeting by preparing, our work plan is compiled, then the letter of assignment of the Chief of Police will be completed and will fulfill what is expected by the community," said Hendro.
As is known, the Anti-Mafia Ball Task Force Volume 2 named six people as suspects in the match-fixing case of the League 3 football match between Persikasi Bekasi vs Perses Sumedang.
They are, DSP, BTR, HR, MR, SHB, and DS, who are the club manager, referee, and PSSI West Java.
In disclosing the case, Persikasi management bribed a number of parties to win the match and move up to League 2.
Rp12 million in cash, ATM cards and savings books were used as evidence in disclosing scoring arrangements.
Persikasi team match against Perses Sumedang took place at Ahmad Yani Stadium, Sumedang West Java, in the Super Jalapa League 3 Series 1. The match was won by Persikasi Bekasi with a position of 3-2.
