Police Make Sure There Are No Mental Victims In The Fire Armed Explosives At South Tangerang BSD
JAKARTA - The police have confirmed that there were no casualties in the armed robbery at a gold shop in a shopping center in Bumi Serpong Damai (BSD), Serpong, South Tangerang, Banten, Friday, September 16.
"There were no casualties," said Head of the South Tangerang Police Criminal Investigation Unit (Kasat Reskrim) AKP Aldo Primananda Putra, quoted from Antara, Saturday, September 17.
Confirmed separately, the Head of Public Relations of the Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Pol Endra Zulpan explained that the Sinar Mas Gold Shop was a victim of armed robbery on Friday.
"The perpetrator immediately fired a firearm once into the shop, then broke the glass window containing jewelry in the form of gold with firearms," Zulpan said when confirmed.
During the action, the perpetrator wore all black clothes including a mask and black hat to cover his face.
After stealing some jewelry in the shop, the perpetrator then immediately fled through the lobby door at the shopping center. The witness who witnessed the incident tried to stop the perpetrators, but could not do much because the perpetrator then pointed his gun at the people around the shop.
"The perpetrator pointed a firearm at people around the crime scene," he said.
The incident was then reported to the South Tangerang Police who immediately held a crime scene (TKP) and collected several pieces of evidence.
"Evidence of bullet casings and broken glass windows," said Zulpan.
There has been no estimated loss value experienced by the shop owner as a result of the incident.
