KPK Duga Ada Perjanjian Fiktif Di Proyek PT Amarta Karya

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) suspects that there are a number of subcontractors at PT Amarta Karya working on a project based on a fictitious agreement. This allegation was investigated by examining three witnesses on Thursday, September 1 yesterday.

Head of the KPK News Section Ali Fikri said the three witnesses were Project Manager of PT Amarta Karya, Maftuchin Al Ghozali and Ari Hariyadi; and Site Administration Manager of PT. Amarta Karya, Andi. The examination was carried out at the KPK's Red and White Building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta.

"The witnesses were present and continue to investigate the alleged fictitious agreement with several subcontractors to work on several projects at PT AK," Ali said in a written statement, Friday, September 2.

It was not detailed what projects the KPK was targeting. However, the three statements are expected to shed light on the alleged corruption that occurred in the BUMN.

The KPK will actually examine two other witnesses, namely Project Manager of PT Amarta Karya, Aristianto and Site Administration Manager, Zulfian. However, they were not present.

"The two witnesses confirmed that they should be rescheduled," he said.

Previously, the KPK investigated allegations of corruption related to project procurement at one of the State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN), PT Amarta Karya in 2018-2020. This new investigation was carried out after the anti-corruption commission pocketed sufficient evidence.

The KPK suspects that there has been a fictitious project implementation. As a result, state losses occur. However, it has not been specified who the party is named as a suspect.
