Based on its release, the company detailed that Lightning eMotors will deliver 70 Class 3 and 100 class 5 zero-emissions electric box trucks with a battery capacity of 80 kWh and 120 kWh.

With this capacity, the Lightning fleet expects a range of up to 200 miles per charge. Class 5 truck development is underway, with deliveries targeted to start early next year.

Furthermore, Mark said that Lightning has the same entrepreneurial DNA as GoBolt.
