Launches Counterattack in the South, President Zelensky Expels Russian Troops: Go Home, Ukraine Takes Back What's Hers
JAKARTA - President Volodymyr Zelensky sent home the Russian army, as Kyiv launched a counter-attack in the southern region near the city of Kherson, saying Ukraine took back his.
President Zelensky in his evening address Monday vowed that Ukrainian troops would pursue the Russian army "to the border".
"If they want to survive (living), it's time for the Russian military to run away. Go ahead", President Zelensky said.

Meanwhile, one of President Zelensky's senior advisers, Oleksify Arestovych, said Ukrainian forces managed to break through Russia's defenses.
"I have to record that today's defense (Russia) has been breached in a few hours", he said.
Ukrainian troops opened fire on the ferries used by Moscow to supply Russia's occupied territory on the west coast of the Dnipro River in the Kherson region, he added.
Separately, Britain's Defense Ministry said Ukrainian forces had stepped up their artillery fire in the south, with their long-range precision attacks disrupting Russian supplies.

Kyiv's counter-attack comes after weeks of stalemate, in a war that has killed thousands, millions of displaced people, destroyed cities, and caused a global energy and food crisis amid unprecedented economic sanctions.
