Kapolsek And Wakapolsek Tanah Abang Positive For COVID-19
JAKARTA - The Head of Metro Jaya Police, Inspector General Fadil Imran, said that the Tanah Abang police chief, Kompol Singgih Hermawan, and the Tanah Abang police deputy chief, Kompol Sri Wahyudi tested positive for COVID-19.
"Hopefully the Head of Petamburan Urban Village can recover, as well as the Kapolsek Metro Tanah Abang Kompol Singgih and the Deputy Head of the Tanah Abang Metro Police," said Fadil while monitoring the mass rapid test activities in Petamburan, Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta, quoted by Antara, Sunday, November 22.
Fadil said that the three of them might have contracted COVID-19 while carrying out their duties to guard community activities.
Regarding the findings of the COVID-19 Handling Task Force regarding a new cluster in Jakarta, Polda Metro Jaya held a mass rapid test in Petamburan.
The task force found new clusters, namely the marriage contract cluster in Petamburan, the Tebet cluster, the Soekarno-Hatta Airport cluster and the Megamendung cluster.
"To break the chain of the spread of COVID-in the DKI Jakarta area, Polda Metro Jaya, Kodam Jaya together with the Provincial Government of DKI Jakarta, of course, represented by the sub-district head will do 3T; Testing, Tracing and Treatment," said Fadil.
The plan is for the mass rapid test to be held for two consecutive days. In one day, the mass rapid test must be followed by 1,000 Petamburan residents.
Lurah Petamburan Setiyanto tested positive for COVID-19 when he was about to be examined by Polda Metro Jaya regarding the crowds in Petamburan.
Polda Metro Jaya enforces a stricter health protocol by requiring all parties to be examined or asked for clarification to undergo an antigen swab test.
