Governor Anies Emphasizes 3 Issues Cooperation At Urban Forum
JAKARTA - DKI Governor Anies Baswedan emphasized the cooperation between three main fields related to investment, energy and the world of work by the city government at Urban Forum (U20) to face challenges after the COVID-19 pandemic.
"The world city currently has an important role as a frontline to overcome the various challenges faced by city residents," said Anies in Jakarta, Saturday, August 27.
He detailed the three main fields, namely investment in the health sector and people's housing as the basis for economic and social recovery.

Through the U20, cities representing G20 member countries are committed to working with the national government to address the most pressing challenges facing the world, including the recovery of the crisis due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
In addition to the COVID-19 issue, it is also related to climate emergency issues and increasing structural inequality.
This year, U20 will focus on the issues and challenges faced by cities due to the COVID-19 pandemic according to the theme raised is Pascapandemic City.
Anies added that the U20 meeting in Jakarta became a place to exchange ideas, ideas and ideas to face global challenges that are getting better complex.
Jakarta hosted a meeting of city government leaders representing Group of 20 (G20) or Urban 20 Mayors Summit which was held at a hotel, Central Jakarta, 30-31 August 2022.
