Cirebon Police Help Build 8 Houses For Underprivileged Residents

CIREBON - Cirebon City Police, West Java, built eight houses for underprivileged residents that were unfit for habitation. It is hoped that this assistance will ease their burden.

"Today we have inaugurated eight housing units that are habitable, and they have been handed over to be occupied," said Cirebon City Police Chief AKBP Fahri Siregar in Cirebon, Antara, Wednesday, August 24.

Fahri said that the program to build uninhabitable houses is an effort by his side to serve and protect the community.

According to him, the program is carried out every year, where this year there are eight uninhabitable houses scattered in the jurisdiction of the Cirebon City Police.

In the previous year, Fahri continued, there were six units built, and it is hoped that every year it can continue to grow more and more.

"Last year we built six units, and this year it has increased to eight housing units," he said.

Fahri added that on this occasion, his party built houses starting from the foundation, as well as major renovations.

Fahri continued, all targeting underprivileged families who have not received assistance from the local government or companies.

"This is a social duty, our duty to protect the community," he said.

Meanwhile, Cirebon Regent Imron said the assistance provided by the Cirebon City Police was very beneficial for the community, especially in Cirebon Regency there were five houses that were assisted.
