Wearing School Uniform But Carrying A Sickle, Two Students In Serang Banten Are Being Chased By The Police
SERANG - Two Vocational High School (SMK) students in Serang Regency were detained by Carenang Police personnel because they were planning to engage in a brawl on Jalan Raya Binuang, Sukamampir Village, Serang Regency on Tuesday, August 23.
Carenang Police Chief AKP Samsul Fuad revealed, officers managed to secure three sharp blades of sickle-type weapons from the two students who were secured.
"The arrests of the two students began with a report by the Bina Insan Binuang Vocational School teacher who found a number of teenagers passing by carrying sharp weapons on Jalan Raya Binuang," Samsul said in a written statement.
Receiving the report, Carenang Police personnel moved quickly to patrol.
"After patrolling, we secured two students who were going to carry out the brawl, namely DR (17) a 12th grade student of SMK, and AR (19) a 12th grader of SMK. We have secured both of them at the Polsek," he explained.
Samsul added that the two students were then given guidance by the police and their parents were summoned to the school.

"Parents, teachers, and village head were summoned, and our student asked to make a statement not to repeat his actions," he added.
Samsul also explained that the police did not hesitate to give sanctions to any student who was involved in a brawl in their jurisdiction. Moreover, he was found to be carrying sharp weapons to carry out good persecution which caused the victim to be injured and died.
"The role of parents is very important in supervising their children, especially during school hours," he said.
