Kiosk Rental Mode Selling Credit, Apparently 2 Youths In Banyumas Are In The Business Of Illegal Drugs, Hundreds Of Items Confiscated By Police

BANYUMAS - The Banyumas City Police Narcotics Investigation Unit arrested two members of a drug dealer network in the Cilongok area, Banyumas Regency, Central Java and secured evidence in the form of thousands of list G drugs.

Head of the Narcotics Satres, AKP Guntar Arif Setyoko, said that the drug trafficking case was revealed on Monday, August 22.

According to him, the disclosure of the drug trafficking case was carried out based on information from residents of Cilongok Village, Cilongok District, who were reported to the Cilongok Police. After coordinating the Cilongok Police personnel with the residents, they took steps to secure the two perpetrators first.

"The two suspects arrested have the initials KF (27), a resident of Pidie Jaya Regency, Aceh Province and AM (25), a resident of North Aceh Regency, Aceh Province," he said during a press conference at the Banyumas Police Narcotics Unit, Antara, Tuesday, August 23. .

The mode used by the two perpetrators in selling illegal drugs was by renting a kiosk to sell cell phone credit. The two perpetrators who are members of the drug trafficking network have been carrying out their actions for approximately three months.

During the arrest, the police secured evidence in the form of 111 strips of Tramadol drug each containing 10 pills, 67 plastic clips each containing 10 yellow pills marked with MF, 133 plastic clips each containing 6 yellow pills labeled MF, 160 silver packaged medicine pills that read Tramadol, 4 transparent plastic bundles, and Rp1,732,000 in cash.

"Based on the suspects' confessions, they got the drugs from someone who was said to be in the West Java area. When supplies ran out, they contacted their boss and sent them again," he said.

According to him, his party is currently still developing the case to find the whereabouts of the supplier of the illegal drugs. The two suspects were charged with Article 196 of Law Number 36 of 2009 concerning Health with a threat of 10 years in prison.

"In addition to Cilongok, in the last two weeks we have also succeeded in uncovering the circulation of illegal drugs at three crime scenes, namely Kebasen, Sokaraja, and Purwokerto Wetan with three suspects," he said.

According to him, the suspects from the three crime scenes are residents of Aceh Province, such as the two suspects arrested in Cilongok.

"But they don't know each other," said the Narcotics Officer.

When asked by reporters, one of the suspects, KF admitted that when he was still in his hometown, he was offered a job selling cosmetics.

Because he was not working at the time, he accepted the offer. Until finally, KF was in Banyumas to sell the drugs.

"It turned out that I was told to sell this. I got paid from the boss up to Rp. 2,000,000 per month," he said.
