Leaving Real Madrid, Casemiro Officially Moves To Manchester United With A Transfer Fund Of IDR 1 Trillion

JAKARTA - English Premier League club Manchester United has officially secured the services of midfielder Casemiro, after reaching an agreement with Real Madrid in the player transfer market this summer.

In from the club's official website, as quoted by Antara, Saturday, August 20, Manchester United explained that the transfer process is currently entering the stage of personal agreement, visa requirements and medical tests.

It is reported that Manchester United spent a total of 70 million euros or around IDR 1 trillion along with add-ons to Real Madrid to bring Casemiro.

The Brazilian player will get a four-year contract or until 2026 and the option of a year extension at Old Trafford.

Casemiro is expected to arrive in England within the next 24 to 48 hours to undergo a medical and sign a contract, before finally becoming an official with the Red Devils.

Real Madrid have also confirmed Casemiro's departure by writing on their official website that there will be a tribute and farewell ceremony for the 30-year-old which will be attended by club president Florentino Perez.

Casemiro will become Manchester United's fourth signing of the transfer window this summer, having previously signed Tyrell Malacia, Christian Eriksen and Lisandro Martinez.

The player whose full name is Carlos Henrique Jose Francisco Venancio Casemiro was signed by Real Madrid from Brazilian club Sao Paolo in the 2013/14 season for a transfer fee of 6 million euros (about IDR 89 billion).

During his time at Real Madrid, Casemiro made 336 appearances in various competitions, contributing 31 goals and 29 assists from a total of 25.850 minutes played. In addition, he also contributed five Champions League titles, three Spanish Leagues and one King's Cup for Los Blancos.
