Alhamdulillah! Solo Embarkation Group 43 Departure Is A Sign Of The End Of Hajj 2022
JAKARTA - The departure of the Solo Embarkation (Kloter) 43 flight group (SOC 43) to Indonesia is a sign that the operation of the 2022 Hajj activities has ended.
"There are a total of 240 groups of Indonesian Hajj pilgrims that we serve in this return phase. Alhamdulillah in general things went well and smoothly. With the departure of SOC 43 to the country, the 2022 Hajj operation has also ended", said Secretary General of the Ministry of Religion, Nizar Ali from the media. The Hajj center in Medina was quoted from Antara, Saturday, August 13.
Nizar said that there were 354 hajj pilgrims in SOC 43, which was the last batch of the second batch to return to Indonesia. Their departure was released at Amir Muhammad bin Abdul Aziz International Airport (AMAA) Medina.
The repatriation of hajj pilgrims in the second batch will take place from July 30 to August 13, 2022, with a total of 47,451 pilgrims in 126 groups returning from Madinah AMAA International Airport.
The congregants who are members of SOC 43 come from the City of Tegal, Pekalongan, Sleman Regency, and Purbalingga Regency. The repatriation process to Indonesia went well.
As of this Saturday, 11 pilgrims are being treated in Saudi Arabia, consisting of 10 regular pilgrims who are being treated at the Saudi Arabian Hospital (RSAS), and one special pilgrim who is being treated at the Indonesian Hajj Health Clinic (KKHI) Medina.
"All pilgrims who are being treated will remain under the supervision of Indonesian Hajj officials. They will be returned to the country if they have met the medical requirements as stipulated", said Nizar.
In addition to the pilgrims who were treated, 89 pilgrims died in the Holy Land. 27 people died during the pre-Armuzna period (Arafah, Muzdalifah, and Mina) from June 4- July 7, 2022, 16 worshipers died during the Armuzna period on July 8-12, 2022.

Nizar prays that all returning pilgrims will find and maintain prosperity in life in the future. He also expressed his condolences to all the families of the congregation who died in the Holy Land.
“May all of them have the best place with Allah. Amen", said Nizar.
For additional information, the pilgrims who were repatriated in the first batch which took place on 15-30 July 2022 through the Hajj Terminal of King Abdul Aziz International Airport, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia totaled 45,120 pilgrims who were members of 114 groups who returned to the country from Jeddah.
