Daughter Caught In Fire On The Second Floor Of A Motorcycle Repair Shop, Was Told To Jump By Her Father But Didn't Work
TANGERANG – The victim of a fire in a motorcycle repair shop on Jalan Raya France, Jayanti, Kosambi, Tangerang Regency, was identified as a 21-year-old woman, with the initials IS.
Teluknaga Police Chief, AKP Darma Adi Waluyo explained, the two-story house which was used as a motorcycle repair shop was occupied by a family consisting of father, mother and children.
"There are 4 people living in that place, so the survivors are Surya (55), Indah (50), Ahmad Saifullah (15). Meanwhile, IS (a girl) died," Darma said when confirmed, Thursday, August 10. .
Darma said that the incident was first noticed by Surya, who woke up at around 04.00 WIB, because he heard a sound from the top of his house. Not long after, the fire suddenly appeared and grew.
"Pak Surya, his father woke up. Because there was the sound of kretek-kretek. After he woke up he found that there was a fire above. So the house was one and also a workshop below. Both his parents slept downstairs too. While his two children slept upstairs, he was made like a stage. of wood," he continued.
Knowing the appearance of the fire, Surya immediately woke up his wife and children. Unfortunately at the time of the incident, IS who was on the second floor was trapped until he died.
"The boy had time to go down maybe because it was near the stairs, this one shouted that the fire was big. Because the building was made of wood, his parents were shouted at and told to 'jump up and down'. Finally trapped and died," he explained.
Furthermore, the fire was successfully extinguished after 65 minutes had passed, the victim was immediately evacuated to the Tangerang Regional Hospital.
"The victim was taken to the Tangerang Regional Hospital," he said.
