JAKARTA - The wife of the Commander of the Indonesian National Armed Forces, Hetty Andika Perkasa, received a gift of flowers and a 51st birthday wish from a student at the Kartini Ancol School in Pademangan, North Jakarta.

Hetty also taught the movement for food security and prevention of tengkes during a visit to the school on Monday, August 8 evening.

The iconic twin teachers of the Pancasila Ideology Development Agency (BPIP), Sri Rossyati (67) and Sri Irianingsih (67) who built the Kartini School, said that on that occasion Hetty also supported the food security movement.

"'Plant vegetables in the school garden' such as spinach, caisim, kale and basil," said Sri Rossyati accompanied by Sri Irianingsih when met by reporters in North Jakarta, quoted from Antara.

Hetty also participated in harvesting vegetables with the school children. "Earlier, Hetty's mother harvested the spinach at the age of 15 days, took it, so that the spinach was delicious. She was happy, because it was a food security movement," said Sri Rossyati.

Sri said Hetty taught Kartini School students about how to grow crops in the school yard to get used to the stunting prevention movement from an early age.

"So there is no malnutrition, no need to buy, just eat that, just buy tempeh, fried with chili sauce, it's delicious," said Sri.

According to Sri, Kartini School was often visited by Hetty with her father, General TNI (Ret.) AM Hendropriyono.

Hetty, who loves small children, likes to play with the Kartini School students and participate in teaching and learning activities together. "Usually my mother often comes here. She has been said to be like a teacher here," said Sri.

Hetty ended her afternoon visit by cutting the cake and singing with the children. After that, the wife of the TNI Commander General Andika Perkasa gave as many as 100 packages of compensation to the children assisted by the Kartini School.
