The Second Booster Vaccination For Health Workers In Jakarta Completed This Month
JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government has carried out a fourth dose of COVID-19 vaccination or a second booster for health workers. The Head of the DKI Jakarta Health Office, Widyastuti, targets the second booster to be completed by the end of August.
"Once it is announced that (the second booster) can be carried out, we are ready. Because the vaccine is already available at our health facilities in DKI. We hope it will be completed within this month", Widyastuti told reporters, Wednesday, August 3.
Currently, the Health Office is still coordinating with the Ministry of Health for data collection of 700 thousand of health workers in Jakarta to be vaccinated with the second booster through the Primary Care (P-Care) application.
However, if there are health workers who have not received an invitation to vaccination, they can request data collection manually.
"When all health workers who have access have received ticket invitations, injections can be given. If they don't get tickets, we will give them but with manual recording. In essence, we in DKI Jakarta are ready to give booster vaccinations", said Widyastuti.
As is known, the Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) issued a circular regarding the implementation of the second booster or second booster dose of COVID-19 vaccination among health workers starting last Friday, July 29.
