Apart From The ITE Law Case In NTT, Bulgarian Citizen Deported
NTT - A foreign citizen (WNA) from Bulgaria with the initials MGS was deported by the Labuan Bajo Immigration Office from West Manggarai, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) on Tuesday 2 August afternoon.
"He has been deported to his country through Soekarno Hatta airport in Jakarta, after going through Komodo Labuan Bajo airport," said Head of Immigration Labuan Bajo, Jaya Mahendra, in a press statement, Wednesday, August 3.
Jaya Mahendra said the deportation process was a follow-up to the previous detention carried out by the Labuan Bajo Immigration Office after the foreigner was released from Ruteng Rutan, Manggarai Regency.
MGS itself is known to be a Rutan Class II B detention center with cases related to Information and Electronic Transactions and violating Article 30 Paragraph (3) of Law NO 19 of 2016.
After completing his prison term, MGS was transferred to the Labuan Bajo Immigration Office Detention Room to await the deportation schedule.
Jaya Mahendra explained that his party had deployed two personnel to carry out the deportation.
In the process, the deportation was carried out by officers from the Labuan Bajo Immigration Office starting from Komodo Airport to Soekarno-Hatta International Airport.
Jaya said that the deportation process began with an administrative examination of MGS. MGS is known to be heading to Bulgaria on Malaysia Airlines. MGS goes to Kuala Lumpur and Dubai which then goes to Sofia Airport, Bulgaria.
"This deportation act is a concrete form of enforcing the Immigration law against foreigners residing in Indonesian territory so that all foreigners residing in Indonesia can comply with applicable regulations," he said.
