"In preparing for construction at IKN, we need to learn from South Korea regarding the intelligent technology system at IKN", Basuki said in a written statement, Saturday, July 30.

The MoU on Technical Cooperation for Capital Relocation and IKN Development was first signed on November 25, 2019, in Busan, South Korea, and will end on November 25.

With the signing, the cooperation will continue until 2025.

Basuki hopes that with the extension of this MoU of cooperation, cooperation between Indonesia and South Korea can be more intensive and more beneficial for both countries.

"KCN phase I has been completed in June 2021 to produce smart cities, smart water management, and smart transportation conceptual designs. In phase II, there are plans and concepts for official housing, plans for implementing smart solutions, and financial feasibility studies. We will elaborate the concept with a housing development plan at IKN", said Minister Basuki.
