Sales Of Fresh Bread Get Bigger, Net Profit Of Sari Roti Producer Owned By Conglomerate Anthony Salim Reaches Rp137.28 Billion In Six Months
JAKARTA - PT Nippon Indosari Corpindo Tbk recorded a positive financial performance from January-June 2022. In addition to increasing sales, the net profit of the Sari Roti producer, owned by conglomerate Anthony Salim, also grew.
Citing the company's financial report released Tuesday, July 26, Nippon Indosari posted sales of IDR 1.79 trillion. This record is up 14.74 percent from the same period in 2021 of IDR 1.56 trillion.
In detail, most of the company's sales revenue comes from white bread products. Its value reached IDR 1.21 trillion, up 5.22 percent from IDR 1.15 trillion.
On that note, white bread products contributed 67.59 percent of Nippon Indosari's total sales.

Meanwhile, other contributions came from sales of sweet bread of IDR 657.97 billion, cakes of IDR 126.09 billion, and others of IDR 14.74 billion.
In line with sales growth, Nippon Indosari's net profit also rose. In this period, the value reached IDR 137.28 billion, an increase of 12.72 percent from IDR 121.79 billion in the six months of 2021.
Even so, the company must experience a decrease in asset value from the final position in 2021 of IDR 4.19 trillion to IDR 4 trillion. Likewise, its equity decreased to IDR 2.42 trillion from the end of 2021 at IDR 2.85 trillion.
