PRC Survey: Ganjar Pranowo's Electability Is Far From Anies And Prabowo
JAKARTA - The Politics Research and Consulting Survey Institute (PRC) released a national survey on the electability of presidential candidates for the 2024-2029 period which showed Central Java (Central Java) Governor Ganjar Pranowo was in the top position with an electability of 30 percent.
"In the 10-name simulation, Ganjar excels very far above Anies, Prabowo, and other names," said PRC Executive Director Rio Prayogo in a survey released by ANTARA, Sunday, July 24.
Ganjar's electability reached 30 percent, followed by DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan with 23.8 percent electability, and Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto at 20.8 percent.
Other data on the top of mind simulation, said Rio, Ganjar was also at the top with the acquisition of 23.7 percent, and again followed by Anies and Prabowo.
"From the top of mind electability aspect, Ganjar got 23.7 percent, DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan 18.7 percent, then Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto with 17.9 percent," said Rio.
For this top of mind survey, Rio said that his party gave open questions to the respondents, namely 'If the presidential and vice presidential elections were held today, who would be the most appropriate to be elected as presidential and vice presidential candidates?'.
The results of the survey show that Ganjar's electability is superior with a fairly wide margin, which is 5.0 percent above Anies Baswedan who occupies the second position.
Ganjar is also in the top position in the three-name simulation. In the simulation, there are two survey models that were carried out with the results of Ganjar being 34.6 percent and 46.8 percent respectively.
In addition, this PRC survey also explains the level of satisfaction with the performance of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi). As a result, as many as 62.8 percent of respondents were satisfied with Jokowi's performance in the last three years.
"The respondents were asked 'After the Jokowi-Ma'ruf Amin administration has run for almost 3 years, are you satisfied with the performance of President Jokowi?'," said Rio.
The survey was conducted from June 12, 2022 to July 3, 2022, which was attended by 1,200 respondents throughout Indonesia through telephone interviews.
Sampling using multistage random sampling method to the national population with a confidence level of 95 percent and a margin of error of 2.74 percent.
