COVID-19 Update As Of July 22: 4.834 New Cases, Active Cases Increase To 38.239
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) released the latest additional positive cases of COVID-19 as of today. A total of 112.790 specimens were examined with the results of 4.834 new positive cases of COVID-19.
"The total accumulation of positive cases since COVID-19 was discovered in Indonesia has reached 6.159.32 people and active cases have increased by 1.458 to 18.239 cases," according to data from the Ministry of Health, Friday, July 22.
Today's recovered cases increased by 3.363 cases, bringing the total to 5.964.196 people recovered. Then, there were 13 positive confirmed deaths and a total of 156.893 people.
The province with the highest new cases was DKI Jakarta with 2.465 cases and a total of 1.306.637 cases. Followed by West Java with 933 new cases with a total of 1.125.549 cases. Banten has 550 new cases and a total of 305.842 cases. Then, East Java with 286 new cases and a total of 582.403 cases.
The province with the most recovered cases today belongs to DKI Jakarta with an additional 1.769 recovered cases. Followed by Banten with an additional 509 recovered cases, West Java with an additional 433 recovered cases, and East Java with an additional 322 recovered cases.
In addition, the number of specimens that have been examined using RT-PCR, TCM, and antigens has reached 102.675.218.
"Positive results per number of people examined or the positivity rate of people this week is 9.09 percent," he wrote.
