Benchmark Results A14X Bionic Outperforms MacBook Pro With Intel Processors

JAKARTA - Apple has decided to use their homemade chip in the latest Mac devices. This device is also said to be launched by Apple at the "One More Thing" event next week.

Quoting Apple Insider, Friday 6 November, the new chipset, which is named Apple Silicon, carries the A14X Bionic processor. Based on Benchmark tests, the 1.80GHz 8-core processor is capable of turbo-boosting up to 3.10GHz.

As a result the A14X bionic scored 1,634 points in single-core testing and 7,220 points in multi-core. Higher number than previous processor models.

In Geekbench 5 testing, the A14X processor also provides more responsive performance even though it uses 8GB of RAM. Of course, if there is additional RAM, it can increase graphics processing results faster.

In comparison, the 16-inch MacBook Pro with an Intel Core-i9 processor scored only 1,096 in the single test and 6,869 in the multi-core test. This means that the A14X bionic chipset has managed to outperform the MacBook Pro with an Intel processor.

If the rumors circulating on the internet are true, Apple will actually launch a new MacBook with the A14X Bionic chipset at the "One More Thing" event next week. Not only one, there are several other models such as the 13-inch MacBook Air, 13-inch MacBook Pro, and 16-inch MacBook Pro that will be launched.
