Because Of Confessing To Facebook Friends, 15-Year-Old Girl Was Invited To Get Drunk And Then Rotated In Crowds At The Anyer Area Hotel
CILEGON - The Cilegon Police's Criminal Investigation Unit managed to apprehend five perpetrators of sexual abuse of minors in Anyer District, Serang Regency, Tuesday, July 5, at around 22.00 western Indonesia time. The perpetrators had the initials MY(24), SH (21), SP (21), MF (19), and MR (18), while the victim was 15 years old.
Cilegon Police Chief, Grand Commissioner Adjutant of Police Eko Tjahyo Untoro explained that his party arrested the perpetrators based on the police report received by the Banten Police SPKT Cilegon Police Number 324 (07/07) which was reported by the SA regarding the crime of sexual intercourse and/or obscene acts against children.
"It is true that there have been criminal acts of sexual intercourse and obscene acts against minors," said Eko in a written statement, Tuesday, July 12.
Meanwhile, Eko explained that the victim and perpetrator got to know each other through social media. From there they had a meeting, until finally there was sexual abuse at a hotel in the Anyer area.
“Initially, the perpetrator got to know the victim through Facebook, then confessed that she was upset. Then the perpetrator asked to meet and play at Paku Beach, Anyer District, then the victim was forced to drink four glasses of red wine until the victim was drunk and helpless, then the victim was taken to an inn that had been prepared by the perpetrator and the victim was sexually assaulted in turn," explained Eko.
Eko explained, that the disclosure was based on reports from the community and the victim's family. After an investigation, one person was arrested. After being examined by a team of investigators, the other four perpetrators were arrested.

In addition to securing the suspect, the Cilegon Police also secured a number of evidence, one of which was green hotel bed linen with floral motifs, a key to the inn, and the victim's clothes at the time of the incident.
"We have secured evidence in the form of one-bed sheet, one key to the inn, and the victim's clothes at the time of the incident," he added.
The five perpetrators were charged with Law Number 17 of 2016 concerning Child Protection Article 81 in conjunction with Article 76D and Article 82 in conjunction with Article 76E with a maximum prison sentence of 15 years.
