WhatsApp Has New Features That Make HP Memory Relieved

JAKARTA - WhatsApp is rolling out a new feature that allows users to delete old document files, photos, and videos stored in the application. This feature called Storage Management can solve the problem of full storage space due to files from WhatsApp.

WhatsApp realizes that every day hundreds of messages are sent via WhatsApp. Not infrequently various files such as documents, photos and videos that are sent actually fill the internal memory of the cellphone.

"WhatsApp now groups large documents, as well as media that have been forwarded many times. This feature will also sort documents by size, from the largest to the smallest," WhatsApp wrote, as quoted by The Verge, Thursday, November 5.

According to WhatsApp's official statement, WhatsApp's Storage Management feature will categorize various photo, video and document files from chats that have the largest conversation data size. Furthermore, WhatsApp users can determine which files will be stored or deleted permanently.

To use the Storage Management feature, WhatsApp users can be accessed easily, namely by opening the Settings menu via the three vertical dots button on the top right, then selecting Storage and Data> Manage Storage.

Not only that, WhatsApp will also notify its users if the memory storage space on the cellphone is almost full. It is planned that the Storage Management feature on WhatsApp will be launched globally, with the version 2.20.205.7 update.
