Chris Evans Responds To The News Of Returning To Play Captain America
JAKARTA - Chris Evans answered rumors that he was returning to the role of Steve Rogers or Captain America. Previously, THR media announced that Julius Onah would direct the film Captain America 4.
"It's not yet clear whether Chris Evans will play Steve Rogers aka the first Captain America," tweeted The Hollywood Reporter on Sunday, July 10.
Quickly, Chris Evans tweeted back and replied, "Sam Wilson is Captain America."

What Chris Evans meant was that Sam Wilson's character, played by Anthony Mackie, received Captain America's shield.
Recently, Chris Evans said he would rather join the Fantastic Four reboot than play Captain America again.
"I would love that. The character is easier to sell than return as Cap (Captain America). You know right? Cap is such a valuable character and you know I don't want to disturb what a wonderful experience it was," said Chris Evans.
Anthony Mackie also said the adventures of Sam Wilson's character will develop after getting Captain America's shield.
“The first time we met him, he was an army counselor. Then he was chosen Captain America to be the Avenger. And it's like a whirlwind adventure. The adventure will continue to grow," said Anthony Mackie.
Chris Evans himself has completed his contract as Captain America in the 2019 Avengers: Endgame film.
