COVID-19 Update As of July 10: 2.576 New Cases, Healing Increases by 1.890
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) released the latest additional positive cases of COVID-19 as of today. A total of 41.702 specimens were examined today. As a result, there were 2.576 new positive cases of COVID-19.
"The total accumulated positive cases since COVID-19 was discovered in Indonesia has reached 6.111.305 people and active cases have increased by 680 to 20.535 cases," said Ministry of Health data, Sunday, July 10.
Today's recovered cases increased by 1.890 people, bringing the total to 5.933.979 recovered people. Then, the positive confirmed cases who died increased by 6 cases and the total was 156.791 people.
The province with the most new cases is DKI Jakarta with 1.675 cases and a total of 1.282.068 cases. Followed by West Java which has 308 new cases with a total of 1.116.523 cases. Banten has 257 new cases and a total of 299.813 cases. East Java has 143 new cases and a total of 579.434 cases.
The province with the most recovered cases today belongs to DKI Jakarta with an additional 1.199 recovered cases. Followed by Banten with an additional 303 recovered cases, West Java with an additional 167 recovered cases, and East Java with an additional 152 recovered cases.
In addition, the number of specimens that have been examined using RT-PCR, TCM, and antigens has reached 101.495.375.

The number of people suspected of contracting COVID-19 or who are currently categorized as suspected cases, was recorded at 2.249 people. Currently, 34 provinces have had cases of COVID-19.
Furthermore, currently there are 201.749.257 people who have received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination and 169.359.459 of the second dose of vaccination. Then, the third dose of vaccination was 51.943.753. Meanwhile, the target for vaccination in Indonesia is 208.265.720 people.
